As the focus of the biopharmaceutical industry has shifted from discovery towards development, the ability to reliably and economically supply biopharmaceutical products has become a major determinant of success. At the same time the growth of the biopharmaceutical industry has stretched the collective human resources to the point where many biopharmaceutical companies do not have the experience and skills necessary to address the needs and challenges in front of them. Recognizing this dynamic within the industry, Kent Iverson established a consulting practice in October 2001 to leverage his skills and experience in the areas of biopharmaceutical manufacturing and development.
